Official Sponsor for the 2019 New England Resident Service Coordinators Conference
“We’re thrilled to play an important role in improving and expanding resident services in communities across New England. The NERSC Conference offers incredible learning opportunities for RSCs, and they honor and celebrate the hard-working professionals in this essential industry. That’s why Maloney is so proud to be the Official Sponsor in 2019.”

Maloney’s team of Resident Service Coordinators joined housing professionals from across the industry at the New England Resident Service Coordinators (NERSC) Conference in North Falmouth, MA, on May 1-3, 2019.
The Maloney team numbered more than 40 members, and they were excited to learn, share, and celebrate the important work they do. From workshops and exhibitor showcases to wellness activities and social events, there were so many learning opportunities and a lot of fun to be had by all.
Maloney’s Director of Resident Services, Jennifer Kadilak, began her role as President of the NERSC Board of Directors this year. Jennifer has led our Resident Services team since 2010, and her tremendous level of experience in residential treatment is a source of support and guidance for RSCs working in communities across New England.
“We rely on NERSC as the one of the premier training organizations for RSCs. In addition to helping to meet regulatory training requirements, NERSC delivers the most cutting edge, interesting, and up to date information and best practices training in the field. THE NERSC conference is a one stop shop that provides the tools and support to address the many demands and needs of the RSC role in an affordable way. Beyond the high-quality education, the conference offers an environment that is conducive to learning, promotes RSCs connection to colleagues, offers networking with service providers, and a focuses on self-care. All of these are essential ingredients that build on RSCs ability to be effective and compassionate in their work to help residents. We are deeply grateful to NERSC for the impact they continue to have and for their ability to deliver such an amazing experience every year! I love being part of the NERSC organization and so do our RSCs!”
—Jennifer Kadilak, Director of Resident Services, Maloney Properties; and President, NERSC Board of Directors
This year the conference welcome dinner theme was Celebrating the Magic of Children’s Literature. Everyone has fond memories of favorite childhood books, and Team Maloney was excited to arrive in costume as The Day the Crayons Quit by Drew Daywalt.
Our team costume served to honor and commemorate our beloved colleague, Doug Hemmings, who passed suddenly at the end of 2018. Doug was deeply committed to NERSC, and stayed highly involved by serving on the planning committee for several years. He and his wife, Debbie, always went all out with their costumes at the Welcome Dinner. We really missed him this year.
NERSC is the premier source of training and professional development for Resident Service Coordinators in New England and beyond. The annual NERSC Conference is held to serve as an opportunity for RSCs and other property management professionals to come together and share ideas and experiences, and to stay informed on the latest topics and trends to best serve our residents and communities. Maloney Properties is proud to be part of NERSC each year since 2009.
