Maloney Receives COVID Hero Award from Boston Senior Home Care
Maloney is so proud to be recognized as a COVID Hero by Boston Senior Home Care at their Forever at Home 2021 event. They put together this amazing video to highlight the hard work our Resident Services professionals have done throughout the pandemic to ensure that older adults across the Boston area received food, support, and access to COVID-19 vaccinations.
November 4, 2021 – Maloney Properties is honored to have been named a COVID Hero by Boston Senior Home Care alongside one of our dedicated Resident Service Coordinators, Nathalie Balan-Mondesir. At Maloney, our highest priority has always been the safety of residents and employees. As this unprecedented pandemic surged through our nation, we were faced with new obstacles to overcome to uphold this commitment to safety. Team Maloney has gone above and beyond to adapt and rise to the challenges we have faced while continuing to deliver our services and meet the needs of residents in the communities we serve with professionalism, kindness and compassion.
Maloney’s Resident Services team has worked tirelessly to ensure open lines of communication with residents by checking in regularly by phone, email, Zoom and by sending care packages and PPE. We have hosted virtual events and programming to keep residents engaged, particularly our senior residents who are most vulnerable to isolation. Our team has been instrumental in connecting residents to appropriate services to ensure they have necessary medication and access to nutritious food. To date, our Resident Services team has coordinated and facilitated more than 70 COVID-19 vaccine clinics and this number continues to rise as we facilitate booster clinics. We are so grateful to have strong partnerships with organizations such as Boston Senior Home Care, the AgeStrong Commission and more to be able to bring these live saving resources to our residents.
