Maloney Properties, Inc. (MPI) recently hosted over fifty of our maintenance personnel for a comprehensive training in electrical, hot water heating, and cooling and ventilation systems.
MPI has utilized the LEAN program to provide $215,000 worth of energy saving electrical equipment at Amesbury Gardens in Lawrence, MA. The equipment comes at no cost to the property, and savings for the light fixtures alone are expected to exceed $18,000/yr.
MPI has utilized the LEAN program to upgrade Wilder Gardens heating and hot water systems at no cost to the property. The project included the installation of new energy conserving heating boilers, pumps, domestic hot water boilers, and tanks, and is expected to reduce energy use by over 20%.
